Candler Park is located just 5 minutes east of Downtown and south of Ponce De Leon Avenue. The Candler Park Historic District, home to many classic craftsman bungalows, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was one of Atlanta’s first suburbs. Candler Park is a walkable, family-friendly neighborhood with great shops, bars and everything eclectic. It also features a nine-hole golf course, a swimming pool, a football/soccer field, basketball court, tennis courts and a playground.
A portion of Candler Park makes up half of Little 5 Points; its neighbor to the west, Inman Park, makes up the other half. The Brewhouse is a popular soccer pub and watering hole, Fox Brothers BBQ serves up the best Frito Pie and the original Flying Biscuit is always a popular choice with its creamy, dreamy grits.
AtlantaBen would live on…
“I had zero experience in buying or selling real estate when I was referred to Ben by another realtor, so I can’t judge Ben against any other personal experience, only against my expectations about the process.
Ben made me feel like I was his only client. When he showed me places, it was evident that he had really been paying attention when we talked about what I was looking for as a first time home buyer. He knew the areas, knew a lot of the hidden dangers/pitfalls in older houses, he knew what would help or hurt resale values.
I was a little suspect about blindly using Ben’s recommendations for local mortgage companies, home insurers, inspectors, etc., so I put in the time to get multiple quotes for each. While they weren’t always the lowest price, they were always very close, and very responsive. I don’t know how referrals work in a situation like that for Ben or his recommended partners. Frankly, I don’t care, they were all very reasonable and a pleasure to work with.
End result is that I’m now a proud homeowner, and it was much more fun and much less stressful than I expected. I’d recommend Ben wholeheartedly.”
